I will check out Jimmy's blog. I am sorry you are scared to eat and have had health problems.
I had some slight health problems on my safe and healthy diet "too little body fat" I need to be fatter than my bmi what you went through sounds 10000 times worse.
PS
Was it supposed to link to your video or Jimmy's blog? On my end it went right back to your original video. Maybe I got an old cashed version.

Christin - God bless you! I saw your video on Jimmy Moore's site -- and am grateful to your bravery in shedding light on this. I feel extremely lucky that I didn't go on Kimkins myself, although I seriously considered it. I, like Jimmy, lost a great deal of weight (67 lbs) on Atkins several years ago. I have since gained back 30 pounds (20 due to antidepressant meds, and 10 more due to eating wrong again) -- and wanted a 'quick fix' as there are other symptoms that crop up when I return to the Atkins plan. I have since decided to follow a more "South Beach" version of low carb, as I have health issues when I return to the Atkins plan. Kimkins is even MORE restrictive than Atkins - and I know the "big man upstairs" was watching out for me -- and kept me from starting that plan. (I believe that from the bottom of my heart)

I've bookmarked your blog, and would like to list it is as one on my "blogroll" in my own blog, if it's OK with you. (My blog is not specifically diet related -- rather various random thoughts as I go through life.) Feel free to visit at www.dgerbino.wordpress.com if you'd like.

Again, THANK YOU for your story. I don't think you'll ever know how many peoples live you may have save d by telling this important story of your experience.

God bless!!

How ridiculous! You had absolutely NO problems with Kimkins when you were getting paid and put on the cover of magazines. Now you claim you have health issues because of Kimkins. PUHLEASE!
First of all, in the Kimkins forum you stated in an early post that you had your doctors approval! Second, you have no health problems. You even said the cardiologist hasn't found anything wrong with you!
Loss of a menstrual cycle is COMMON for women who have had drastic weight loss. The hair loss? I'm not so sure I believe that. How can you have a 60%+ hair loss? I don't care how you style your hair to make it "look full" there's no way your hair looks that good with only 40% covering your scalp! You'd be balding!
You have not provided ONE piece of evidence that supports your health "problems" are Kimkins related. But then again, what health problems? So you had chest pains, it could have been anxiety, gas, anything. Because according to your tests, your heart is fine. And besides, how do we know these issues aren't a direct result of being overweight for so many years?
I believe you need to get back with the doctor who approved of the Kimkins plan for you and ask him ;)

I've never gotten into blogs or internet boards, and the past few days I'm finding myself being sucked in. This back and forth negative stuff you're participating in is too much. I'm disappointed in people, once again, for their meanness on both sides, but most of all I'm sad to see the name of Jesus or Christianity mentioned here and on the other sites. Mahatma Gandhi once said, "If Christians lived according to their faith, there would be no more Hindus left in India." Dwight L. Moody put it this way: “Of one hundred men, one will read the Bible; the ninety-nine will read the Christian.” You’ve made your points as to what you did wrong, what Kimkins did wrong, how you were wronged. Please move on, away from Kimkins, away from low carb, and away from this negative mess. Wishing you good healthy in mind, body and spirit.

Thank you so much, Christin. :)

You know, kindness is really so much easier to "verify" compared to all the qualities one could use to describe Heidi Diaz. Maybe that's why so many found assurance in your words even in the very beginning - and still do!

Christin I love what you're doing here. Sorry for my little rant in your comments btw - It is in no way aimed towards you. I was, like everyone else, feeling a little lost and hurt and wondering "what next?" But you addressed my concerns beautifully. Thank you! I loved your video and how you spoke from the heart. I've decided to tag you because I think it goes right along with what you've been doing here. Please read my blog to find out why.

God Bless!

Thank you everyone for your comments and opinions. I will continue my blog as I feel the Lord leads me. I chose to publish all comments given here because I am not going to pretend like there are those who do not agree with me. I am doing what I feel I need to do to save lives. There are those who will not listen, there are those who will not hear my voice as one of concern, love and sadness. I would be doing a disservice to those who I am attempting to reach, however, if I remain silent. Thanks again for voicing your opinions and concerns for me. Please know that I always seek to follow the Lord's direction and will only ever post and say things that I feel he has led me to.

You Kimkins truthtellers are playing the victim, in my opinion. No one forced any of you to adopt her diet, or stay on it. You have the responsiblity to think for yourselves and do your own research. Don't blame your gullibility on some faceless internet guru. Face it. There are no quick fixes or miracle diets!!

I'm so sorry to hear you'll continue to blog about it all. I can understand your why, as you want everyone to avoid your mistakes. I know you think you're doing the right thing. Us girls just want to save the world!! I disagree that Jesus would lead you to publish all that you have, but last I checked, Jesus wasn't talking to me about your life. It's yours and not mine. :) I won’t bother you anymore, as I can’t bear negative, gossipy, drama stuff, even if it’s true, but that’s my personality. You’re young though, and there are others out there that you can reach. Wishing you much success and health. Blessings!
